Every 5 years, the State of Texas renews the Stormwater Construction General Permit. Starting on March 5, 2023, you have 90 days to renew your Active Stormwater NOI / Permits and update your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) Books with the updated General Permit.
If you do not renew your permits within that time frame, your permit will expire and you will be out of compliance with stormwater regulations. Texas requires all Permits and Renewals occur through the STEERS Website.
STEERS Account Holders (ER Account #)
If you are responsible for Signing, Submitting, and / or Paying for Stormwater Applications (NOI / NOC / NOT / Renewal) through STEERS, login and verify your Account and Passwords are Active, your Access Type is Setup, and your SPA is Signed / Submitted. Some Account Issues require you to contact STEERS Hotline for assistance. It is critical to resolve any Account issues now because their Hotline will be overloaded starting in March.
Please Note:
STEERS Accounts must be renewed every 2 years. Otherwise, your account is Archived.
STEERS Account Passwords must be changed at least once a year.
